"We recently renovated our house while still living there. It was a nightmare, except for one surprising experience - Mitch and the team at Floorboards. We had consulted with a few flooring companies and the only person who put us in the driving seat was Mitch. He visited the house and explained all the possible options with pros and cons. He then let us decide on the product we wanted and then made it work for us.
Nothing was too much trouble. When the colour samples hadn't arrived, he picked up another batch and brought them to the house. Mitch has a really detailed knowledge of flooring, and we found that reassuring.If he didn't know something, he didn't pretend he knew, he went away and found out. We had a very small window to lay the flooring and he fitted us in with these dates, and stuck to the agreement. Luke, who laid the flooring was knowledgeable, experienced and had an eye for detail. He not only did a fantastic job but also recommended a carpet layer to stretch the hall carpet, and they came the next day. Oh, and bonus, the final invoice was less than the original quote, because the flooring prep was less than they originally thought.
