Before the transformation
This 1970s brick-and-tile home sat untouched for over four decades. Its prime Papamoa Beach location was clouded by dated interiors, worn-out fittings, and a mismatch of old carpet, broken vinyl and tiles. An upgrade was well-overdue and the improvements required vision and expertise to undertake such an extensive Papamoa Beach renovation. See some of the 'Before' photos below:
The renovation journey
Straight Up Builders took on the renovation challenge, with the initial design concept by Richard Bisson from Drift Design Studio, Paula Waterhouse Design for colour consultancy, and Floorboards for timber flooring supply and installation.
Oak timber flooring
Once the renovation was near completion, the Floorboards installation team stepped in to lay our elegant timber flooring. Our Vintage Oak timber floor adds natural warmth throughout the home as it sweeps through the open-plan kitchen-dining-lounge area, hallway, entrance and office. See some of the 'After' photos below:
